In short
Muze connects Shopify product, order and revenue data to your AI assistant in the same OAuth connection as Meta Ads, Google Ads and Amazon Ads. That lets you ask about blended performance against real revenue rather than platform-reported conversions. Shopify access is effectively read-only: 13 of the 15 tools are read. Shopify is a data source here, not an ad channel.
Why platform-reported ROAS lies to you
Every ad platform is graded by its own homework. Meta attributes a conversion, Google attributes the same conversion, and if you add up the channel dashboards you will often find you sold considerably more than you actually did. The only honest denominator is real orders. That is why we treat commerce data as part of the advertising picture rather than a separate reporting exercise, and it is the main thing an ads-only MCP server structurally cannot do.
What you can ask for
- “What was blended ROAS last month across Meta, Google and Amazon against actual Shopify revenue?”
- “Which products are carrying revenue, and am I advertising them?”
- “Show me spend by channel next to orders for the same period.”
- “Which best sellers have no active campaign behind them?”
Scoped, read-only, revocable
- 13 of 15 Shopify tools are read. Muze is not editing your store.
- OAuth only. No app install work, no credentials to manage.
- Scoped to the store you authorize, and you can revoke access whenever you want.

Shopify is most useful in combination. Connect it with Meta Ads, Google Ads and Amazon Ads to make the cross-channel questions answerable. See how Muze MCP works.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there an MCP server for Shopify and ads together?
- Muze connects Shopify alongside Meta Ads, Google Ads and Amazon Ads in a single OAuth connection. That combination is unusual: most ad MCP servers cover ad platforms only, which means they can never compare spend against actual store revenue.
- Is Shopify access read-only?
- Effectively yes. Of the 15 Shopify tools, 13 are read and 2 are write. Shopify is there as a commerce data source for products, orders and revenue, not as an ad channel. Muze is not going to change your storefront.
- What is blended ROAS and why does it need Shopify?
- Blended ROAS compares total ad spend across every channel against total actual revenue, rather than trusting each platform's own attributed conversions. Meta and Google will each happily claim the same sale. Reading real Shopify orders is the only way to see what the whole programme returned.
- Can it tell me which products to advertise?
- Yes. It can read your catalogue and order data to identify best sellers and to see which products are actually carrying revenue, then use that to inform campaign and creative decisions on Meta, Google and Amazon.
- Do I need to install a Shopify app or write code?
- No. You authorize over OAuth with your normal Shopify login, and you can revoke access at any time. There is no development work involved.
