In short
Muze gives a solo founder an AI operator for paid advertising. One OAuth connection puts Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads and Shopify into ChatGPT or Claude, so finding wasted spend, checking what the store actually made and pausing what is not working happens in one conversation instead of across four dashboards. It can build campaigns as well as read them. Every change previews first, campaigns are created paused, and Muze never takes a percentage of ad spend.
The account you keep meaning to check
The honest version of solo founder advertising: you set the campaigns up during one focused week, they worked well enough, and you have not looked properly since. Not because you do not care. Looking properly means logging into three platforms, remembering which date range you used last time, and comparing numbers that disagree, and there is always something more urgent than that.
The cost of the gap is invisible, which is why it persists. Nobody sends an alert saying an ad set has spent for eleven days without a purchase. The problem is not skill. It is that the work is spread across four interfaces designed to be lived in by someone whose full-time job is living in them, and you have roughly twenty minutes.
Twenty minutes, in one conversation
Ask the questions instead of hunting for them. What did we spend everywhere last week and what did the store make. Which ad sets spent without converting. Which product is actually selling. Muze reads Meta, Google, Amazon and Shopify in the same session, so the comparison happens without a single export.
Then, and this is the part read-only tools cannot do, it acts on the answer. Pause the ad set. Move the budget. Add the negative keywords. Build the campaign and leave it paused for you to look at tonight. An agent that only reports is a nicer spreadsheet, and you do not need another spreadsheet. You need the two changes you would have made yourself if you had had the afternoon.
Why the confirmation step matters more when you are alone
Nobody is reviewing your work. There is no account manager who would notice a budget went up by a factor of ten. That is exactly why the safety model should be mechanical rather than a matter of trust.
Every write returns a preview of the exact change before it executes. New campaigns are created paused, forced by the API rather than requested in a prompt, so a misread instruction costs you a click instead of a weekend of budget. Tools that stop live spend require an explicit confirmation. The Amazon bid autopilot moves live bids only inside a 0.65x to 1.25x clip range. None of that depends on the model behaving well, which is the only kind of safety worth having when you are the only person watching.
It costs software money, not a share of your budget
Agencies and tools that take a percentage of ad spend earn more when you spend more, which is a strange incentive to hand to a system whose job is recommending spend. Muze charges flat.
The free tier is 25 read-only tool calls a month: enough to connect your accounts, ask what last month actually returned, and decide whether the answers are worth anything before paying for the ability to act. Budget always runs through your own ad accounts on your own card, and Muze never holds or intermediates money.
What you would actually type
No syntax, no account ids, no date range pickers. Muze resolves the ids itself and asks if something is ambiguous.
- “What did I spend across every platform last month, and what did the store actually make?”
- “Find anything that spent more than $200 in the last two weeks without a single conversion.”
- “Is Meta or Google doing better right now, and should I move budget between them?”
- “Build a Google Search campaign for this page, leave it paused, and tell me what you did.”
- “What changed in my accounts since last week? Short answer.”
What it will not do
- It cannot spend without you. Every write previews the exact change and waits for an explicit confirmation.
- Campaigns arrive paused. You review the build on your own time and enable it yourself.
- Stopping live spend needs a confirmation flag. A confidently phrased instruction is not enough to pause a live ad.
- Start read-only. The free tier is read-only by design, so you can evaluate the answers before granting the ability to act.
- Revoke whenever you want. Access is scoped to the accounts you authorize and can be revoked from the platform side.
What it costs
The free tier is 25 read-only tool calls per month across every connected platform. That covers the weekly read for a small account without paying anything. Write actions, meaning pausing ads, moving budgets and creating campaigns, require a paid plan.
Muze never takes a percentage of ad spend, and never holds your budget. If you want the fuller product rather than just the assistant connection, Muze Lite is the small-business tier.
Frequently asked questions
- I am not a marketer. Do I need to know the platforms to use this?
- You can ask in plain language and the tools resolve account ids, profile ids and store domains themselves. What it will not do is make strategic decisions you cannot evaluate. It shows you the change and you approve it, so you stay the person deciding.
- Is it safe to connect to my live ad account?
- Every write previews before it runs, campaigns are created paused at the API level, and tools that stop live spend need an explicit confirmation. The free tier is read-only, so you can look at what it reads before letting it act at all.
- How long does setup take?
- Minutes. Connection is OAuth with your normal platform logins. There is no developer account, no API token to mint and no platform password to hand over.
- Will it spend money without me?
- No. Writes require confirmation and every new campaign is created paused. Budget runs through your own ad accounts on your own payment method.
- What if I only advertise on Meta?
- Then use Meta’s own official MCP server. It is free, first-party, and takes five minutes, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Muze is worth it when you have more than one channel and the useful questions become comparative. We will still be here when you add Google.
- Can it write ad copy and creative too?
- The MCP includes creative operations: creating Meta ad creatives, replacing an ad image or video, updating copy on a launch plan, and generating keywords and copy for a Google Search launch. The wider Muze platform does more creative work than the MCP surface exposes.
- What does it cost?
- The free tier includes 25 read-only tool calls per month. Write actions require a paid plan, and Muze never takes a percentage of ad spend.
